: Trims a read image to the 7"x8" size, the one fourth of 14"x17", if the 4on1 film format
is selected for the read image.

Moves the reference position for trimming up-and-down and right-and-left. (The trimming frame
can go further to the outside of the image before extraction. Note, however, that the center point
of the trimming frame cannot be located outside the image area.)
Selecting a position within the trimming frame and moving it up and down and/or right and left
will also allow you to move the selected position.
: Releases trimming processing. To re-specify the range for trimming, select a position to be
determined as the start point for trimming and then select the end point so that a rectangle is
formed as the range for trimming.
: Rotates the range for trimming by 90 degrees. For example, the range for trimming
specified to 8"x10" is rotated by 90 degrees to make it to be 10"x8".
NOTES
Trimming adjustments are not available in the following cases.
a) Images read from the FCR5000 series at standard density
b) Composed images or source images for composition
c) Energy subtraction images
d) Some of the images read in FR mode
• When the trimming frame is set up beyond the image before it has been subjected to trimming
processing, areas that are beyond the image will be painted black when it is output. Note that the
result of image processing will not be yielded as specified when the image is re-output from any
external devices that include image display unit.
• Modifying an exposure menu or replacing an image after image trimming processing will retain
the trimming setting determined before such a change, resulting thus in disabling re-trimming
processing at initial menu setting after such a change.
• When an image trimmed to 10"x14" or 14"x10" size is delivered (except for film output), it is
output in 14"x17" or 14"x14", depending on the image size before trimming processing. (The area
outside the trimming frame is painted in black.)
