Nozzle Check:
Select this feature to check if the print head nozzles are clogged. The printer prints a nozzle check
pattern.
Head Cleaning:
Select this feature to clean clogged nozzles in the print head.
Print Head Alignment:
Use this feature to adjust the print head to improve print quality.
Ink Cartridge Replacement:
Use this feature to replace the ink cartridge before the ink is expended.
Paper Guide Cleaning:
Select this feature if there are ink stains on the internal rollers. The printer feeds paper to clean the
internal rollers.

Menu Options for Printer Setup
Select the menus on the control panel as described below.
Setup > Printer Setup
Paper Source Setting:
Paper Setup:
Select the paper size and paper type you loaded in the paper source.
Paper Setting Alert:
Select On to display a warning if the paper settings (print settings) for the print job do not
match the printer's paper settings that you made when you loaded the paper. This setting
prevents misprinting. However, the notification screen is not displayed when Paper
Configuration is disabled in the following menu.
Setup > Paper Source Setting
Paper Configuration:
Select On to display the paper settings screen automatically by referring to Setup > Printer
Setup > Paper Source Setting > Paper Setup when paper is loaded in the paper source. If you
disable this feature, you cannot print from an iPhone or iPad using AirPrint
