5.3 Using the BHT after Long Periods

Data stored in the BHT may be lost and the calendar clock may stop if the BHT is left unused for long periods of time.
The RAM will revert to the factory default when performing full reset. Back up any important data to the "Flash" folder
or to the computer before full reset. The BTH starts from the "Initial Setup" when the BTH turns ON after the data in
the RAM is deleted.
Take appropriate measures in accordance with the procedure below.
Does the power turn
ON?
Does the normal
screen display?
The BHT can be used.
Charge promptly before
the battery runs out. (*)

The "Working" screen is
displayed continuously.
Perform a "full reset".
Refer to "Chapter 2 BHT
Preparation" – "2.4 Initial
Setup" or "2.6 Resetting
and Full Resetting".

Insert a fully charged battery.
* Do not remove the battery from the BHT for at least
2 days to charge the backup battery.
Power ON
"No system!" screen is displayed.
The "Working" screen is
displayed continuously even after
repeated full reset.
The following reasons may be
considered. Contact the system
administrator.
 Hardware damage
 Application failure
