Installation
The Observer 4120 is shipped with a base containing an
integrated cooling fan. Ensure the cooling fan power cable
is connected to the cooling fan power port.
Remove the Security Cover and open the faceplate as
described on the following page. Secure the 4120 to a flat
surface using appropriate fasteners.
Ensure that the front panel of the HVR remains accessible,
there is a minimum 2.5 inches of clearance for cables, and
there is adequate space to provide air for the cooling fan.
Do not install the HVR in an area of the vehicle cabin that
could interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.
Security Cover
After connecting all needed cables to the rear of the DVR
as shown in the Main Wiring Diagram, secure the Security
Cover with the included screws as shown in the diagram.
