Main Power LED
A Main Power LED is located at LED3 on the motherboard. When this LED is on, the system
power is on. Be sure to turn off the system power and unplug the power cord before removing
or installing components.
BMC Heartbeat LED
LEDBMC is the BMC heartbeat LED. When the LED is blinking green, BMC is functioning
normally.
Overheat/PWR Fail/Fan Fail LED
An Overheat/PWR Fail/Fan Fail LED is located at LED8.
Unit Identifier LEDs
UID indicators provide easy identification of a system that may be in need of service. The
UID switch is located next to the VGA port on the back panel. The rear UID LED (LED7) is
located next to the UID switch; the front UID LED is on the control panel. When you press
the UID switch, both rear UID LED and front panel UID LED Indicators are toggled on or off.
UID can also be triggered using IPMI.
