3. Connect diode power. Remove the end cap and connect the female connector
of the diode power cable to the J2 connector on the laser head (see Figure 4-
8). Once it is aligned, the connector can be pushed in. Turn the locking ring of
the connector in the clockwise direction until it is locked.

4. Connect laser signal. Align the female connector of the laser signal cable to
the J1 connector on the laser head. Once it is aligned, the connector can be
pushed in. Turn the locking ring of the connector in the clockwise direction
until it is locked as shown in Figure 4-9.
