Chapter Seven: Troubleshooting
Q-Switch Driver Over-Temp Fault
 Verify the cooling fan for the RF driver is operational.
 Verify that the airflow through the driver is not obstructed. This fault will not
clear until the RF driver has had time to cool down.
Q-Switch HVSWR Fault
 Check RF cable connection to laser.
 Perform RF output power check.
The Q-switch has failed if the measured RF power is around 20 W with 50 Ω RF
dummy load. Contact Northrop Grumman for repair.
Q-Switch Low Power Fault
 Perform RF output power check.
 Verify voltage to RF driver.
 Adjust RF power if needed.
Channel Over Temperature Fault
 Verify the eDrive fans are operational.
 Verify that the airflow through the driver is not obstructed.
