2. Connect the DC link high-voltage cables from the UPS.
CAUTION
Verify with a voltmeter that no power is present on the system. Disconnect all input

power supplies. Use lock out/tag out procedures to secure the UPS and battery system
before beginning this step.
In this step, the battery and UPS are isolated by the Switchgear because the circuit

breaker in the switchgear is opened.
