3.9.1 Switchgear and SMPS Assembly Installation

Figures may show other assemblies to indicate relative position. Those assemblies will be installed at a
later time.
Important
Attach each Switchgear to its rack frame with four M5 x 10 mm screws. (Torque: 5.1–

6.1 Nm [45–54 in lbs])
Verify that the torque setting is correct.

1. Insert the Switchgear Assembly through the front of the rack as shown in Figure 3-10: Inserting Switchgear
2. After all Switchgear Assemblies are inserted in the rack frames, attach each to the rack frame with four M5 x 10
mm bolts. (Torque: 5.1–6.1 Nm [45–54 in lbs])
