INSTALLATION MANUAL OPERATION MANUAL INSPECTION LOG
- Removal of battery pack
Refer to Figure 201: Battery Pack Disassembly / Reassembly
• Remove and discard the 4 securing screws and nuts from the ELT
front panel.
• Carefully extract the ELT front panel from the housing up to reach the
battery connector.
• Disconnect the battery connector.
• Remove the battery pack.
• Remove and discard O-ring and desiccant capsule.
- Recording of maintenance tasks
Refer to Figure 202: Recording of Maintenance Tasks
Check the expiration date of the new battery (written on its label).
On the first "Periodic Inspection Log" of this manual
Inspection Log, page
1.
Fill the field "Next planned battery replacement date" with expiration
date of the new battery;
2.
Tick the box "Battery change".
On the label supplied with the battery kit:

Fill the field "Battery Type" with the P/N of the new battery (written on
its label);
4.
Fill the field "Battery Expiry Date" with expiration of the new battery);
5.
Fill the field "Inspection Date" with today's date.
6.
Fill the field "Next Control" with the date of next mandatory control
according to regulation in effect.
7.
Remove the old label from the housing and replace it with the new
label.
NOTE: as the entire "Identification / Inspection" label is engraved,
- for a first battery replacement, remove the small labels identifying the
"Next control", "Battery type" and "Battery expiry date" fields, then
affix the new label onto the lower part of the engraved "Identification /
Inspection"label;
- if it is not the first battery replacement, remove the former "Inspection
label" from the lower part of the "Identification / Inspection" label and
replace it by the new label.
