If Print Results Are Not Satisfactory
Troubleshooting for Each Error
When black or white streaks appear or when color

The print head nozzles might become clogged. Print and check
a nozzle check test pattern, and then perform a head cleaning
or a head flushing.
If nozzle problems occur, print head nozzles become clogged
and ink cannot be ejected properly.
Execute a nozzle check to determine the number of
the clogged print head.
See page 40 "Nozzle Check".
Perform a head cleaning for the clogged print head.
See page 42 "Head-cleaning".
Execute a nozzle check to determine whether the
problem has been eliminated.
If the problem persists, do not use the machine for
5–10 minutes.
By doing this, minute bubbles in the print head nozzle may
disappear as the air in them dissolves into the ink, resulting
in unclogging.
Execute a nozzle check to determine whether the
problem has been eliminated.
