The OPC client object is added to the same hierarchy level as the OPC server, see
Fig. 4.3.1.2.-1. Below the OPC client object, you have only channel and device
objects. The data objects are linked by using Cross-References function from the
servers to the client and further to the NCC. The Cross-References function can be
also used configuring the data object's parameters.
Add the objects in the following order:
1. OPC client object
2. Channel/Subnetwork object depending on protocol
3. Device object

Configuring objects

Each configurable object, such as server and channel/subnetwork object can be
configurated with object properties. The source data is configured with a data object
OPC server configuration. This defines the addresses and type of data in the device
providing the data. Process data is connected to a COM 610 Gateway client by
adding the OPC client properties to the data objects below an OPC Server. Notice
that the name of the data object should be the same as specified in the client object's
Data Object Properties and it specifies to which client instance that property
belongs. This property, together with the station address on the data object, connects
COM 610 *2.1
