Installation

About this section

This section describes briefly for installation and uninstallation of the
Communication Gateway COM 610 2.1 and also necessary preparing of the
Gateway computer. For more detailed instructions on installation of the gateway
components, refer to the Section 1.8. Related documents.

Technical data on COM 610 Gateway computer

The following sections describe how to mount the Gateway computer and they also
give technical information.

Mounting of Gateway computer

The COM 610 Gateway computer is designed for mounting at a control panel.
To mount the Gateway computer:
1. See Fig. 3.2.1.-1 for mounting instructions.
2. Install the device with four screws at the control panel.
3. Establish a connection to the DC supply via the lead-through terminal by screw
connection as described in Table 3.2.3-3, "Power input 24 V DC," on page 25.
