The Gateway computer can be restarted remotely by running restart.bat command
from the root of C drive. The Gateway computer can also be shut down by running
shutdown.bat command.
Note! If you enter the command shutdown.bat, the Gateway
computer shuts down and you cannot restart it remotely.
User's access
Two user accounts are already defined in the Gateway computer:
• Administrator, password: pwd2004
• COM610, password: test
You must create the same user names and passwords to the Communication
Engineering Tool to access the Gateway computer for example to make changes to
the configurations. It is also possible to create a new user account to the Gateway
computer for certain engineering computer user. The User Accounts can be created
in the Windows Control Panel. If you add a new user, you must also define the
DCOM settings of the Gateway computer before you can access the computer.

DCOM settings

You must define the permissions to use the Gateway computer. This is done with
DCOM settings.
