3-2 Moving the Tool
Selection of the Coordinate System
On this machine, you can switch the display between the following two coordinate systems.
User Coordinate System: This is a coordinate system in which the location of the origin point can be freely
changed.
Machine Coordinate System: This is a machine-specific coordinate system in which the location of the
origin point is fixed and cannot be changed.
For the operations on this machine, it may be a good idea to leave the selection at "User coordinate system"
at all times. When you want to know the absolute location of the tool on this machine, select the machine
coordinate system.
Changing the Unit of Measurement for Display
You can switch the unit of measurement used for displaying coordinates between millimeters and inches.
Click the [Preference], then select the unit.
