SAFETY

13.1 Intended Use

The machine must only be used for its intended purpose! Any other use is deemed to be a case of
misuse.
To use the machine properly you must also observe and follow all safety regulations, the
assembly instructions, operating and maintenance instructions lay down in this manual.
All people who use and service the machine have to be acquainted with this manual and must be
informed about the machine's potential hazards.
It is also imperative to observe the accident prevention regulations in force in your area.
The same applies for the general rules of occupational health and safety.
The machine is used for:
Connection to a compressor for the supply of compressed air tools and applications. It is used
exclusively for the transport of compressed air; Fluids must not be transported.
Only accessories suitable for the air hose reel may be used.
Any manipulation of the machine or its parts is a misuse, in this case
MASCHINEN and its sales partners cannot be made liable for ANY direct or indirect
damage.

13.2 Security instructions

Missing or non-readable security stickers have to be replaced immediately!
The locally applicable laws and regulations may specify the minimum age of the
operator and limit the use of this machine!
To avoid malfunction, machine defects and injuries, read the following security instructions!
 Mount the machine before first use.
 Use the machine only with compressed air. The machine must not be used with
liquids.
 If the hose is released during roll up the hose end would be uncontrolled. Yourself
and others can thereby hurt or damage property. Therefore never release the hose
when rolling up. Maintain control the hose end always till finishing the rolling up.
 Only use accessories that are in perfect condition and are intended for use with the
machine.
 Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of the machine or the compressed
air tool you are operating with.
 Only connect the machine to a supply which ensure that the maximum permissible
pressure is not exceeded. The supply must be secured by a pressure control valve
(pressure reducer) installed in the compressed air line.
 Protect the hose from heat, oil and sharp edges.
 Check the hose before using the machine.
 Operating only with one compressor.
 Operation with compressed air bottles is not permitted.
 The operation of compressed air tools with combustible gases is prohibited. Risk of
explosion!
 Keep children away from your work area.
 Never aim the machine or its hoses against people or animals.
 Turn off the air supply when adjustment, maintenance, repair-work and cleaning.
Disconnect hose from the air supply after operating!
 Do not use the hose to carry the machine.
 Hold the hose firmly when disconnecting it from the supply of compressed air or a
compressed air tool from the machine. Flapping hoses represent a risk of injury.
 Note the safety instructions of the connected devices. Wear prescribed protective
equipment (hearing protection, safety goggles, protective mask ...)
