RIOT SHIELD INSTALLATION
INSTALLING THE R40 TO A RIOT SHIELD USING THE 3M
RECLOSEABLE FASTENER ADAPTOR

Peel the backing and
place the adhesive
side against the back
of the shield.

1. FIRST, REMOVE THE CAPTURE ADAPTOR. Assemble the 3M
Reclosable Fastener Adaptor to the Light Head using the included
hardware. Use a Phillips head screwdriver and crescent wrench to tighten
adaptors to each other (NOTE: Do NOT overtighten).
2. 2 Align the center cutouts and press the 3M Reclosable Fastener together
with the 3M Reclosable Fastener Adaptor.
3. Peel the backing from the 3M Reclosable Fastener (exposing the adhesive)

and then press it firmly against the inside of the shield.
Press the 3M Reclosable Fastener adhesive firmly for at least 5 sec.
