Les servantes et le support peuvent etre places d'un cote ou de
l'autre pour supporter les pieces horizontalement. Installez-les
comme l'indiquent les figures. Puis serrez les vis a fond pour
immobiliser let servantes et le support.

Holders and holder assembly (optional accessories)
The holders and the holder assembly can be installed on either
side as a convenient means of supporting workpieces horizontal-
ly. Install them as shown in the figures. Then tighten the screws
firmly to

Installing holders and set plates
(optional accessories)
The holders can be installed on either
side as a convenient means of supporting
workpieces horizontally or workpieces to
be cut repetitively into identical lengths.
To install the holder, insert the holder
through the hole in the set plate with the
curved portion of the holder pointing
upwards. Then slip the holder rods into
the holes in the base. Tighten the holders
securely with the screws.

ment les servantes a l'aide des vis.

Coupes successives a la memo longueur
Lorsque vous sciez plusieurs pieces de bois selon la merne Ion-
gueur comprise entre 255 et 415 mm, servez-vous de la butee de
riglage qui rendre votre travail plus efficace. Alignez la I igne de
coupe portee sur la piece a scier avec le cote droit ou le cote
gauche de la rainure et, tout en empechant la piece de bouger,
deplacez la but& de reglage tout contre l'extremite de celle-
ci. Fixez ensuite la butee de reglage avec la vis.
Comment porter l'outil
Assurez-vous que la scie est debranchee. Fixez la lame selon
(angle de biseau de 0 ° et le socle rotatif salon l'angle d'onglet de
57 ° a gauche. Assurez la tige de coulissage sur la position oi a
lame se trouve repoussee d'environ 80 mm en arriere du socle
rotatif. Abaissez a fond le bras et verrouillez-le en position baste
en reliant la chaine a la vie sous le carter du rnoteur. Portez
votre outil en tenant let deux cOtes de sa base comme sur la
figure.
Cutting repetitive lengths
When cutting several pieces of stock to the same length, ranging
between 255 —415 mm (10" — 16-5/16"), use of the set plate
will facilitate more efficient operation. Align the cutting line on
your workpiece with either the left or right side of the groove in
the kerf board, and while holding the workpiece from moving,
move the set plate flush against the end of the workpiece. Then
secure the set plate with the screw.
Carrying tool
Make sure that the tool is unplugged. Secure the blade at 00
bevel angle and the turn base at the 57
0
miter angle to the right.
Secure the slide pole at the position where the blade is pushed
backwards about 80 mm (3-1/8") from the turn base. Lower
the handle fully and lock it in the lowered position by attaching
the
chain to the screw under
the motor housing.
Carry
the tool
by holding both sides of the tool base as shown in the figure.
