When you turn OKIMATE on it records the
top of form (first line for printing) at the posi
tion of the printhead on the page. If you are
using standard 11" paper, you can skip di
rectly to the top of the next page by putting
the command CHR$(12) into a print state
ment.
Then, when OKIMATE is 1/2" from the bot
tom of a page, it will automatically skip to
the top printing line of the next page. This
prevents printing on the perforation.
