CAUTION:
Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. You should only perform troubleshooting and simple
repairs as authorized in your product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and support team.
Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions
that came with the product.
CAUTION:
Use only hard drives/SSDs that have been tested and approved for use with the hard drive backplane.
CAUTION:
Combining SAS and SATA hard drives/SSDs in the same RAID volume is not supported.
CAUTION:
When installing a hard drive/SSD, ensure that the adjacent drives are fully installed. Inserting a drive assembly and
attempting to lock its handle next to a partially installed assembly can damage the shield spring of the partially installed
assembly, and make it unusable.
