Steps

Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, turn the storage sled locks on the sled front panel to unlock position.
CAUTION:
If you are permanently removing the sled, install a sled blank. Operating the enclosure for extended periods of
time without a sled blank installed can cause the enclosure to overheat.

Lift the sled release latches upward by 90 degrees, and holding it by the latches, pull the sled out of the enclosure.
CAUTION:
To protect the I/O connector pins, install the I/O connector cover every time a sled is removed from the
enclosure.

Install the I/O connector cover over the I/O connectors.
