Rebound Damping Adjustment -
Speed Triple RS
The rebound damping adjuster is acces-
sible from the left hand side of the
motorcycle. It is coloured black and is
situated close to the rear suspension
reservoir.
1. Rebound damping adjuster
To adjust the rebound damping setting:
• Rotate the adjuster clockwise to in-
crease rebound
anticlockwise to decrease.
• Always count the number of clicks
anticlockwise from the fully clock-
wise position noting that the first
stop (click position) is counted as
zero.
Note:
• The motorcycle is delivered from
the factory with the rebound ad-
juster set at 16 clicks from the fully
clockwise position.

The compression damping adjuster is
situated below the rear suspension unit
reservoir.
1. Compression damping adjuster
To adjust the compression damping set-
ting:
• Rotate the slotted adjuster clock-
wise to increase, or anticlockwise to
decrease.
• Always count the number of anti-
clockwise turns from the fully
clockwise position.
Note:
• The motorcycle is delivered from
the factory with the compression
damping set
turns from the fully clockwise posi-
tion.
