6.75 Network Configuration The IMS-4010 Dry Contact Node has a serial port on the side which is used to configure network settings. A dumb terminal or terminal emulation software is required to get online and set up the configuration. The port is male DTE, so a DB9 female–female null modem cable will be required.

Returning an IMS Unit for Repair In the event that any of your Sensaphone IMS-4000 units do not function properly, we suggest that you do the following: 1) Record your observations regarding the individual unit’s malfunction. 2) Call the Technical Service Department at 610.558.2700 prior to sending the unit to Sensaphone for repair.
