Connection examples

Some connection examples for the following types of connection are listed below:
● 3P4W - 3 phases, 4 conductors
● 3P3W - 3 phases, 3 conductors
● 3P4WB - 3 phases, 4 conductors with balanced load
● 3P3WB - 3 phases, 3 conductors with balanced load
● 1P2W - 1 phase, 2 conductors
● With/without voltage transformer
● With current transformer
The device can be operated up to the maximum permissible voltage values with or without
voltage measuring transformers.
It is only possible to measure the current with current transformers.
All input or output terminals not required for measuring remain free.
In the connection examples, the secondary side of the transformer can optionally be
grounded at the "l" terminal. It can be grounded at either the "k" or the "l" terminal. The
grounding has no impact on the measurement.
The wiring method must be made notified to the device using the "powerconfig" configuration
software. The specified connection types refer to the device parameterization.
Parameterization of the devices with "powerconfig" is described in section Parameterizing
the device (Page 37).
