1. Install:
Temperature probe tester "1"
●
(onto the engine oil drain bolt)
Digital tachometer
●
(onto the spark plug lead of cylinder #1)
Pocket tester

2. Start the engine and warm it up until the
specified oil temperature is reached.
Oil temperature
95.0–105.0 °C (203.00–221.00 °F)
3. Check:
Engine idling speed
●
Out of specification → Adjust.
Engine idling speed
1300–1500 r/min
4. Adjust:
Engine idling speed

a. Turn the pilot screw "1" in until it is lightly
seated.
b. Turn the pilot screw out the specified number
of turns.

c. Turn the throttle stop screw "2" until the spec-
ified engine idling speed is obtained.

5. Adjust:
