2.2.3 Software and Driver Installation

2.2.3.1

Before you start installation

Do not connect the Hardware to the computer before the software has been installed!
•
You will need the Titan suite CD-Rom, USB cable and the hardware.
•
To use the software in conjunction with a database, your computer must have NOAH3, a NOAH3
compatible Office System, or the OtoAccess database installed prior to the Titan Suite installation.
(See 2.1.3 for a complete list of supported NOAH3 Office systems).
•
If you are using AuditBase System 4 you must ensure that you launch this office system prior to this
installation of the IMP440/ABRIS440/DPOAE440 software.
•
You must have administrative rights to the computer on which you are installing the
IMP440/ABRIS440/DPOAE440 software.
2.2.3.2

Software Installation

Note: Before you start installation of the Titan Suite, a NOAH3 compatible office system or the
OtoAccess database should be installed.
Note: You must have administrator rights to install the software. If you do not have this, contact
your Network Administrator first.
Insert the installation CD and follow the steps below to install the Titan Suite software. If the installation
procedure does not start automatically, click "Start", then go to "My Computer" and double-click the DVD/CD-
RW drive to view the contents of the installation CD. Double click the "setup.exe" file to initiate the
installation.
1. If the dialog below is shown, click Install.
2. When the "Welcome to the Titan Suite Setup Wizard" dialog box appears (as below), click Next and
then follow the onscreen instructions. When the "Installation Complete" dialog box appears, click
Close. The software is now installed and ready to use.
