This is the description for the system control and monitoring via network.
The remote control(monitoring) changes the system configuration or monitors the image via network (LAN).
Above is the necessary connection diagram.
a If the user subscribes to the internet, the internet service provider will connect it through a router or a
modem. The dynamic IP address is set for the modem user and fixed IP address is set for the router user.
b Connect the internet to the DVR coming from the modem or router, and setup the NETWORK configuration.
c It is possible to control the system from the PC with a web browser or the remote client software program
installed.
Notes
• Dynamic IP : The subscribed internet line is shared among the users. Since it doesn't have the fixed
address, it is hard to connect from the outside. But, it is possible if there is a server which is informed of
the address. LDV-S802 supports dynamic IP as well by the separate server management.
• Fixed IP : It has a specific and unique IP address in the world to connect the internet.
NETWORK configuration
After the installation according to the architecture drawing, the network on the system should be set to enable
the remote cotrol and monitoring possible.
