8. When mounting 2 HDDs, connect the cables to the left and right sides as shown below.
9. After mounting the HDD, screw fix the cover.
(4 points on the left side and 5 points at the rear side)
Notes
• When adding a HDD, it is recommended to use the same brand HDD as the one being used.
• When mounting 2 HDDs, Master and Slave must be set correctly.
(Refer to the instruction manual provided by HDD manufacturer for Master/Slave jumper setting)
• Set as Master when one HDD is installed.
The HDD should be formatted after installation
When installing or adding the HDD, it should be formatted before use.
The HDD which has been used in another device should be formatted to make sure normal storage.
