> MAC ADDR
An address is necessary for computers to identify one after another on the network. Like we exchange
letters by writing sender's and receiver's address on envelope, Mac address is used as same way as the
postal address for network communication. And this will enable computers to exchange information on net-
work. Mac address represents the current address of DVR. It is not necessary to change, but the user may
notify the system that the network is connected.
> SERVER
Unlike fixed IP, floating IP doesn't have fixed IP address. It is changed whenever the modem is reset or
the power is turned on again. DDNS server keeps the time for the time changing IP information. When IP
address is set, DVR will keep DDNS and the user will register this DDNS server in order to search the DVR
though the IP address keeps being changed.
-
Static IP user : DNS FAILED → It is regarded as a normal since fixed IP user doesn't need the DDNS

server.

-
Dynamic IP user: DNS AVAILABLE → It indicates system is network connected since Dynamic IP user
need DDNS server.

CHANNEL

It is the setup for Record, Record schedule, Title, Screen adjustment, PTZ. Since this part is one of the most
important parts of the setup, be especially careful about it.
