Default setup

This is used when the user wants to reset the unit to the factory default.
(Refer to the appendix for the factory default)

DEFAULT SETUP → PASSWORD INPUT → O.K

Upgrade

LDV-S802 is designed to upgrade the firmware in case of function change or addition of new function.
[Change sequence]
1. Save the firmware file(LDV_S802.BIN) in the memory stick.
2. Plug the memory stick to the USB port on front panel then, click the SETUP button.
3. Select the "6.UPGRADE" from the SYSTEM menu.
Note during upgrade
• Do not remove the memory stick while upgrading.
• Do not turn off the power while upgrading.
• It reboots itself after 3 seconds when the upgrad is completed.
• If there is any problem, please contact your local dealer.

Backup

The video file can be backed by the memory stick very easily. The USB memory stick is the only possible
backup device. Insert the USB memory stick into the USB port and select the BACKUP.

If the system recognizes the USB memory stick, it shows the total space.
b Select the Channel to back up. The above example displays the CH1 selection.
c Select the start time for backup.
d Select the end time for backup.
e If the setup is completed, click "NEXT".
Caution
This unit supports only FAT16 or FAT32 format for USB Memory Stick. Before using the USB Memory Stick,
you must format the USB Memory Stick on a PC with FAT16 or FAT32 format.
