REMOVUNG FROM CARTON
1. Cut the cornersof thecarton and lay the sidesfiat on the ground.
Removeand discard aiIpackinginserts.
2. Movethe snowthrowerout of thecarton.
3. Makecertainthe carton has beencompbteiy emptiedbefore
discardingit.
LOOSE PARTS
Tworeplacementaugershearpinsare incBdedwith this manual.Refer
to ReplacingShear Pinsin the Operationsectionfor moreinformation
regardingshearpin replacement.

Placethe shiftbver in the Forward-6position.
Observethe lowerreararea of the snowthrowerto be sure both
cabbs are alignedwith roibr guidesbeforepivotingthe handle
upward.See Figure1.
NOTE:Makecertainthe upperends of eachcableare seatedproperly
in its bracket.

Securethehandle bytighteningthe plasticwing knoblocatedon
boththe left and rightsides of the handle.See Figure2. Remove
and discardany rubberbands,if presenLThey are for packaging
purposesonly.
