The SBC-598 provides one 168-pin DIMM socket for an SDRAM
module. You can select an SDRAM module between 16MB to
64MB. However, please don't use both SIMMs and DIMMs
simultaneously.
Installing DIMMs
The DIMM installation procedure is slightly easier.
Note that the module can only fit into a socket one way.
1. Open the fastening clips on both sides of the socket.
2. Insert the DIMM into the socket. Make sure that the pins line
up properly.
3. Gently close the fastening clips until the DIMM is firmly seated.
Removing DIMMs
1. Open the fastening clips on both sides of the socket.
2. Remove the DIMM from the socket.
