4.4.1 UPDI
The UPDI interface uses one pin to communicate with the target. For further information on how to use

Info: PF6 (RESET) is usually not used by the EDBG as the ATmega4809 can be reset through
the UPDI interface.
4.4.2 Virtual COM Port
The Embedded Debugger acts as a Virtual Com Port gateway by using one of the ATmega4809 UARTs.

4.4.3 Data Gateway Interface
The Embedded Debugger features a Data Gateway Interface (DGI) by using either an SPI or I
