part requires replacement and have the part available during the next
scheduled service visit.

2. UGW SnapShot

The UGW SnapShot tool consolidates commonly used data from the
UGW into a format accessible from an Internet capable device (mobile
phone, tablet, or a personal computer).
Service technicians can utilize this tool to check device status prior to a
service call.

3. Content Delivery System

The CDS is Canon's next generation system for the delivery and
installation of firmware and MEAP (Multifunction Embedded Application
Platform) applications to imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 devices with
the imagePASS Server attached. The advantages of the CDS include
reduced service costs (labor and travel), and improved first-call resolution
and having the latest version of firmware always available to download
and install on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 devices.
However, the value of using the CDS is realized when updating multiple
imageRUNNER ADVANCE devices. You can save up to 40 minutes per
machine for firmware downloading and installation.
There are three methods, which helps you to deliver firmware updates to
imageRUNNER ADVANCE 6500 devices:
