CLEANING AND FLUSHING

Thoroughly clean and flush the
outboard motor with fresh water after
operating in dirty or salty water.
Wash the outside of the outboard

motor with clean, fresh water.
2. Pull the flush plug hole cap off the
motor.

3. Install the water hose joint
(optional part).
HOSE JOINT
(optional)
4. Connect a fresh water hose to the
water hose joint.
5. Turn on the fresh water supply to
the hose and flush the motor for 5
−
6 minutes.
6. After flushing, remove the water
hose and water hose joint and
reinstall the flush plug hole cap.
