If installing new spark plugs, tighten
1/2 turn after the spark plugs seat to
compress the washers. If reinstalling
used spark plugs, tighten 1/8 1/4
turn after the spark plugs seat to
compress the washers.
The spark plugs must be securely
tightened. An improperly tightened
plug can become very hot and may
cause engine damage.
8.
Check the number of the spark
plug cap and the cylinder (e.g. 1, 2,
3, 4 from the top), and securely
install the spark plug cap against

the spark plug of the
corresponding number of the
cylinder.
