Event Log Messages
Description
The Hbus cable is not connected to both the
AlphaStation and Graphics Interface Module or
the Graphics Interface Module is not being
detected by the Workstation Interface Module.
The Graphics Interface Module is not present in
the system or is not being detected by the
Workstation Interface Board.
A Vertex Module is not present in the system or is
not being detected by the Graphics Interface
Module.
The Image Rendering Module configuration
detected was not valid. The IRM Mask value
displayed is a bit mask indicating which Image
Rendering Modules are present. The lowest order
bit corresponds to IRM0, bit 1 to IRM1, ... .
No Video Memory Module is installed, one Video
Memory Module is installed but in the wrong slot
in the backplane, or the Graphics Interface Module
is not correctly detecting the Video Memory
Module configuration. VMM Mask is the setting
of the Video Memory Module configuration bits
read from the Graphics Interface Module Status
register.
