Removal and Replacement

5.15 Power Control Module

Perform the following procedure to remove the Power Control Module from the
PowerStorm 1000 graphics subsystem deskside chassis:
1. Perform a normal system power down (see Section 5.2).
2. Remove the left side panel (see Section 5.4).
3. Remove the module hold-down bracket (see Section 5.5).
4. Disconnect the four connectors
5. Carefully pull the Power Control Module off of the four standoff retaining posts
that secure the Power Control Module to the chassis and remove the Power Control
Module (see Figure 5-13).
To replace the Power Control Module, reverse steps 1 through 5 of the removal procedure.
