3. Power connection method
Insert an AC coupler into the battery holder of the unit using recommended AC
adaptor AC-V700 and supply the power from the AC adaptor.

4. Entering the camera test mode
1. Set the camera power switch to the CAM mode.
2. Set the LCD button to ON.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Press the AE-LOCK button.

5. Exiting the camera test mode
1. To exit the test mode with the DBG MENU item displayed on the 2.5-inch LCD screen,
press the EXIT button several times until all menu items disappear on the LCD display.
2. When the adjustment test mode is exited, set the power switch to OFF to enter
the factory-setting state.

In this test mode, the register setting of a microcomputer in a camera is changed
directly. Therefore, the camera may not properly operate when ones other than
the specified item are changed incorrectly. The operations except items described
on this manual are not performed absolutely.
