Attaching Keywords (ID Numbers) to Pictures

You can attach a keyword of up to 16 letters to a picture. The keyword is displayed when the picture
is played back.
You can specify a keyword for a picture before taking it, or attach or change the keyword after the
picture has been taken.
Note
You cannot attach a keyword to or change a keyword on a protected picture.
Specifying a Keyword Before Shooting

Press the EXECUTE button.
The message "Add No.xxxx Folder OK?"
appears. [xxxx] is the automatically attached
folder name.
Press the EXECUTE button.
The folder is created, and the camera is ready to
take pictures.
Pictures are thereafter saved in that folder.
Note
You can create about 510 folders on a card.
While pressing the mode lock (green), turn the
power/mode dial to CAM.
Press the MENU button.
The LCD monitor turns on, and the menu is
displayed.

Select "ID Set" using the 4(UP)/$(DOWN)
buttons.

Press the EXECUTE button.
The keyword screen is displayed.

Select "Mode" using the 4(UP)/$(DOWN)
buttons and press the EXECUTE button.
You can now change the mode setting.

Select "Off", "Hold" or "Inc" using the 4(UP)/
$(DOWN) buttons and press the EXECUTE
button.
Off
Choose "Off" if you don't want to attach a
keyword to a picture or to invalidate an existing
keyword.
Hold
Choose "Hold" if you want to attach the same
keyword to all pictures.
