Google Account
Google account is a user name/password for using the Google
services. By setting up your Google account to the terminal, you can
use Gmail to send/receive emails or Google Play to download
applications or games.
Setting screen unlock method
Set a unlock method for the screen lock when turning the power on,
or displaying the screen by canceling sleep mode.

From the Home screen,

When you select "Pattern", "PIN", "Password", set whether to
require authentication each time the power is on.
None : Set to not display the lock screen.
Swipe : Set to unlock by swiping the lock screen.
Pattern : Set to unlock by a pattern connecting at least 4 points.
PIN : Set to unlock by a security code (4- to 16-digit number).
Password : Set to unlock by a password (4- to 16-digit
alphanumerics including symbols).

Make pattern visible : Set whether to show pattern when
entering the pattern.
Automatically lock : Set the time for automatically locking
screen after the terminal goes into sleep mode when the screen
unlock method which requires authentication is set.

Power button instantly locks : Set whether to lock the screen

Locking the screen
Screen lock is activated when you set the unlock method (
to other than "None".

The display backlight turns off to go into sleep mode, and then
the screen lock is activated.

When you do not operate the terminal for the time specified in
"Sleep" (

P.96), the terminal goes into sleep mode automatically
and then the screen lock is activated.
When you forget unlock method
･
When you set the unlock method which requires authentication, if
you fail unlocking screen lock 5 times or more, the unlocking
operation cannot be performed temporarily. Retry after a certain
period of time.

If you forget your pattern/PIN/Password, contact a docomo Shop.
