Preparations
1. Turn off the power.
2. Remove the upper frame. (Refer to the maintenance manual Part 1, Section 1-6.)
3. Remove the bottom plate. (Refer to the maintenance manual Part 1, Section 1-6.)
Tools
. Torque screwdriver (3 kg.cm):
. Torque screwdriver bit (for M2):
Replacement
1. RE-174 board removal
Remove the RE-174 board.
(Refer to Section 4-18-2.)
2. DC-97 board replacement
(1) Loosen the screw a fixing the board fixing
plate.
(2) Remove the two screws fixing the DC IN
connector on the rear panel of the unit.
(3) Remove the DC IN connector (DC-97 board)
from the unit.
(4) Put a new DC IN connector (DC-97 board)
into the round hole of the unit with the board
placed on its left side and install it with two
screws removed in step (2).
3. RE-174 board installation
Reinstall all the boards in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 2.
