1-8. Disconnecting/Reconnecting the Printed Circuit Boards

This section explains the disconnecting and connecting procedures for plug-in boards which have
switches or slit lands that need to be set.
For other circuit boards, refer to the maintenance manual Part 2 Volume 1.

Before disconnecting or connecting the plug-in board, be sure to turn off the power. To turn off the
power, be sure to disconnect the battery or the cable connected at the DC IN connector, in addition to
turning off the power switch.

The unit is equipped with shielding springs which have sharp edges.
Do not touch them with bare hands. Pay careful attention when servicing.
Disconnecting
1. Remove the battery sub panel. (Refer to Section 1-6-1.)
2. Open the eject levers, and then pull the board out as shown in the figure.

When removing the AU-262 board, follow the steps below:
Slightly pull the board out and tilt it toward the connector panel. And then, lift the board out.
