3. Slip ring assembly removal
(1) Remove the two screws, then remove the slip
ring assembly.
(2) Pull out the small relay board just above to
which the lead wires are soldered.
Installation
4. Slip ring assembly installation
(1) Install a new slip ring assembly in the drum
shaft in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Never touch the slip ring during installation.
(2) Install the slip ring assembly with two screws.
[Tightening torque: 20 x 10
{2.0 kgf.cm}]
(3) Connect the small relay board of the slip ring
assembly to the board on the upper drum
assembly.
5. Brush assembly installation
Install the brush assembly. (Refer to Section 3-3.)
6. Brush cover installation
Install the brush cover. (Refer to Section 3-3.)
