5-9. AT Head Height Check and Adjustment
Note
The AT head height adjustment is closely related to the azimuth adjustment, and
head position adjustment.
Be sure to perform adjustments (or checks) according to "In Case the Adjustment is
Performed" in this section when the AT head height is adjusted.
Tools
. Alignment tape CR8-1A:
. Oscilloscope (Tektronix 2465B or equivalent)
. Nutdriver (d = 4.5 mm):
Preparation
1. Turn the power off
2. Connect the oscilloscope
CH-1 : TP303 (CH1 PB SIG)/AU-262 board
CH-2 : TP403 (CH2 PB SIG)/AU-262 board
TRIG : TP807 (Y SW)/MD-122 board
Oscilloscope setting :
CH-1 : 200 mV/DIV
CH-2 : 200 mV/DIV
3. Switch setting
Set the switch S100-1 (cassette compartment
lock) on the SV-206 board to ON.
4. Set the alignment tape
Set the CR8-1A and put a weight on the cassette
so that it does not rise up.
Weight about 1000 g is suitable.
