Control panel


The ACS-AP-I is the user interface of the drive. It provides the essential controls such as
Start/Stop/Direction/Reset/Reference, and the parameter settings for the inverter control
program.
One control panel can be used to control several drives through a panel link; see section
Panel bus (Control of several units from one control panel) (page 119).
The control panel can be removed by pulling it forward from the top edge and reinstalled in
reverse order. For the use of the control panel, see ACS-AP assistant control panel user's
manual (3AUA0000085685 [English]) and the firmware manual.
Control by PC tools
There is a USB connector on the front of the panel that can be used to connect a PC to the
drive. When a PC is connected to the control panel, the control panel keypad is disabled.
