System Memory Configurations

The CPV5300 has two 168-pin DIMM sites for memory expansion,
organized as two memory banks (Bank 0 and Bank 1). Each bank consists
of one socket providing a 64-bit wide data path and eight ECC bits.
The DIMM sites accept industry standard PC100 compliant DIMM
modules (8, 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256Mb) with or without ECC. Modules can
be mixed to give any memory configuration between 0Mb and 512Mb.
You can use either registered or unbuffered memory modules.
Note
Installing DRAM DIMMS

Before installing DIMMs, remove power from the system and disconnect
all power cords. After power is removed. remove the CPV5300 from the
chassis.
Only qualified, experienced electronics personnel should
