Site Considerations

Workbench Load
Refer to the Machine Data Sheet for the weight
and footprint specifications of your machine.
Some workbenches may require additional rein-
forcement to support the weight of the machine
and workpiece materials.
Placement Location
Consider anticipated workpiece sizes and addi-
tional space needed for auxiliary stands, work
tables, or other machinery when establishing a
location for this machine in the shop. Below is
the minimum amount of space needed for the
machine.

Assembly

The tool grinder was completely assembled
at the factory, except for the guide rod micro-
adjust knob. To install it, screw the knob into the
threaded hole, as shown in Figure 8. For the
sake of simplicity, the grinding wheel should not
be installed until after the Test Run.

Initial Lubrication

Your machine was lubricated at the factory, but
we strongly recommend that you inspect all
lubrication points yourself and provide additional
lubrication as necessary. Refer to Lubrication on
Page 28 for specific details.
