3.2 Power Supply Module – Installation / Removal
3.2.1

Power Supply Module Installation

1. Insert the power supply module into the power supply bay.
2. Push the power supply module into the bay until it locks into place.
3.2.2

Power Supply Module Removal

CAUTION: The power supply is only hot-swappable (system does not have to be powered down) if the
system is configured with two power supply modules operating in a 1+1 Redundant configuration only.
Systems with a single power supply installed, MUST be powered OFF before removing the power supply
module from the system.
1. Detach the power cord from the power supply to be removed.
2. Using the handle, pull the power supply module from the system while pushing the green latch in the
direction shown.
