Refitting The Driving Pulley - PIAGGIO MP3 400 i.e. Service Manual

- Check the guide shoes for the variator back-plate
are not worn.
- Check the wear of the roller housings and of the
belt contact surfaces on both pulley halves.

Refitting the driving pulley

Installing the roller container
- Install the spacer with the internal chamfer facing
towards the inside.
- Position the rollers on the half-pulley as shown in
the figure.
- The closed side must rest on the inside thrust
face of the roller container.
- Assembly the half-pulley with the roller contrast
plate and sliding blocks.
